On July 4th, the filming of the four-episode series “Better Than Anyone” has finished.
The shooting took place in Kyiv, including Khreshchatyk street, Pechersk district, Expocenter of Ukraine, and Natalka park.
The main female role was played by actress Alexandra Epstein. She noticed, that her character Masha is very naive, she doesn’t expect the tricks that this world is about to throw at her. Masha remains a maximalist and refuses to accept compromises.
The leading male role was played by Dmytro Pchela. Actor said about his character that for it was interesting to show how a person gradually emerges from a difficult crisis and rebuilds their life.
Synopsis. Masha Lavrova lives in a small town in Ramensk with her mother Anna, her elder sister Nadezhda, her husband Sergei and their daughter Sonia. Masha is an aspiring pianist, and Sergei and Nadia are young scientists who have long been invited to work in the capital. However, all of a sudden, misfortune strikes their family: Masha and Nadia’s mother dies in a car accident, and Masha gets an injury that shatters her dream of becoming a pianist. What’s more, her beloved boyfriend cheats on her with another girl. In despair, Masha is ready to leave everything and go to the capital with Sergei and Nadia, but life opens up new doors of opportunity for her, as Masha starts teaching music to talented children…
