The filming of the series TO PROPOSE NOT TO PLEAD took place in Kyiv, starting from mid-August.
“The filming went according to the schedule, but there are stories when we just couldn’t make do without a creative solution. For example, when we chose an outdoor spot for filming in Obolonska quay in Kyiv, the director, producer and I met by pure accident a group of beautiful sporty girls doing a kangoo jumps workout. According to the script, Zurab helps Lidia to find a bride for her son and meets potential candidates during his walks in the city. At that moment the director had a new idea for filming and he decided that he’d film Zurab, who is short and plump, jumping next to tall and slim girls and handing out his business cards in the process. The scene was meant to be hilarious. We are thankful to the girls that they agreed to participate in the filming.“ - Anna Skok, production director for The Groom series.
